 Abstract

E-Bus pass Registration and Renewal System Project is a real time project which is useful for those who are facing problems with the current manual work of bus pass registration and renewal. It also increases the validity period. His / Her Renewal or Registration can be done using any online payment method. This online bus pass registration application will help users save their time and renewal bus passes without standing in a line for hours near counters. Initially they need to register with the application by submitting details of photo, address proof, and required details online. Students should submit their college Bonfire   along with their SSC memo with other proofs if necessary. Admin will verify your details and if they are satisfied they will approve bus pass. You can even renewal using credit card or other wire transfer methods. The project allows users to register on the bus pass website and interact online to manage their account and bus pass related transactions.

 EXISTING SYSTEM:

 Existing system of bus pass consists of manual work and people should stand in a line for hours near counters to get their pass done. It takes lot of time to view and approve the proofs given by every applicant efficiently. The duration is more between applying for the pass and retrieval of pass. For renewal of pass the student should again visit nearby counters. This procedure is time consuming and needs lot of paper work.

 PROPOSED SYSTEM:

 The software system allows the users to get bus passes online and eliminate the need of standing in queues for passes.

Online bus pass software system allows the users to:

·         Apply for the new pass.

·         Renew their pass online.

·         Verification of the passengers can be done online using various address and photo proofs. Once verified the system allows them to book passes for any type of  bus pass online (greater, route, general) by paying amount online.

·         It also shows appropriate schemes for quarterly, monthly and yearly passes.

·         Admin should maintain a daily record of the Approved passes and Disapproved  passes for the applicants.

·         The payment can be done online.

 The system also consists of an admin login that allows the admin to:

 ·         View various transactions.
