RETAIL PURCHASE AND TRACKING SYSTEM

ABSTRACT
                                 Rental Purchase and tracking system is an application which allows customers to shop and purchase products online. This application will allow customers to view and order products online from any part of the world. This application provides details of different types of products category wise. In this application customers can directly communicate with the dealers about the price and the quality of the product. This application lets customers to communicate with number of providers and allows customers to compare the price and the quality of the product. Customers can order the product and get the track record accordingly with the details of the location.

1. Admin:
                            Admin gets login with a valid username and password. Admin will monitor the entire application. Admin will add products. All the details of the product like image, name of the product, brand of the product and the price of the product will be added by admin. Admin will add different types of products category wise in the application.
2. Customer:
                          Customer need to register with the application by entering all his details. Customer can get login by entering unique username and password. Customer can view products, view provider request and view track record.
3. Provider 1, 2, 3:
                            Provider’s module will get login with their respective username and password. Providers can view customers request and send the reply to the customer. Customer can view all the sales details of the customer purchased product.



Objectives:
                                            The main objective of the project is to develop an application which provides easy interface where users can search products, purchase products, send a request to the provider directly and can track the location of the purchased product. Users can view the complete specification of the product along with various images. Users can get different prices for the same product and can directly communicate with different product providers.


Scope of the project:
This project covered the following elements:
1.      Specification – Shop fitting design and requirements
2.      product - reviewing existing products and providers
·        Sourcing new providers
·        Set up new providers accounts
·        Create merchandising plan
3.      Sales target – creating realistic sales target based on:
·        Historic sales information
·        Increased product productivity
4.      Market research – capturing customers’ needs
·        Customers were able to try samples of various products and purchase the product online. Products will be available to customers as they  to see in the Market Place
5.      Marketing
·        Internal signage
·        External signage
·        Launch plan
·        Point of sale template (Pos)
6.      Transition planning
·        Closing the port cabin
·        Stripping the port cabin
·        Transferring stock
Problem Statement:
Problem statement is measured in terms of the output provided by the application. Problem statement provides details of the disadvantages of the existing system in brief. Only when the problem statements are clearly given, it is possible to design a  new system, which will fit into required environment. It rests largely with the users of the existing system to give the problem statement. Problem statement for the application can be broadly stated as given below:
·        The system should be able to interface with the existing system
·        The system should be accurate
·        The system should be better than the existing system
The existing system is completely dependent on the user to perform all the duties.




2.1 EXISTING SYSTEM:
In the existing system customers can purchase products in an application without having any idea about the details of various prices of the product and available dealers. No proper communication between the application and the customer. There is a risk of mismanagement of data, application is less secured. Application is not in reach of distant customer. Customer is not able to get the track record of the ordered product.
2.2 PROPOSED SYSTEM:

The proposed system is a user friendly and most secured system. There is no risk of data mismanagement. This system provides easy and flexible way to access the application. This system provides direct communication with various dealers. This system allows customers to compare various prices and quality of the selected product. This system provides the track record of the ordered product. This system will provide accurate result in ordering a product.
